Before I read this chapter, I didn't know what symphony has anything to do with a whole new mind. However, after reading the symphony chapter in the book, I've learned that seeing and recognizing relationships between one thing and another is symphony and that it is a significant part of our lives. I think I still have some problems connecting things together. Like for some things, I can relate them to each other very easily. But for others, I see them as separate subjects and have troubles linking them together. Now, after reading this chapter, I will force and push myself to join thing that I see are unrelated. In the middle part of this chapter, invention is mentioned. It shows that invention is not something hard and impossible to do, it is just creating a new idea by combining two existed ones. I think this is a bit challenging for me too because of how I was raised. Like most Asian family, I was taught since I was young that study is extremely important and that it is a promising way to get to success. Therefore, unlike Western children, we were stopped most of the time when we have crazy thoughts. People around us weren't encouraging. I think this is the reason why I feel that I'm trapped in a box and I'm struggling to get out of it. Overall, I really like how the author shares ideas that he had learned in the class that he took and how he uses it to show us that relation between things are incredibly essential.

What if money raised alligators??
This is a crazy question. I don't think it will happen even in a million years. If money was used to raise alligators, I guess alligators will be dominating the world. We, humans, would be their pets. We would be locked in pet stores while alligators strolling down the street. Can you ever imagine that?? Th
Episode 3 Part 6
I think people are naive about their data trail. Once things are on the web, it's impossible to erase. Everything we did are going to be on there forever. Moreover, things that you did are going to be access by you boss, friends and anyone that goes online. If you don't want every details of your personal to be view by all different people around the world, then don't post it online!! In return for a free web, we have to give up our privacy. Free web is redefining privacy, personal space and ultimately who we are.

Episode 3 Part 5
It's pretty shocking to know that what you did to your computer, what you did online and what you researched on the website is public to other people. That kind of made me uncomfortable because I feel like I'm being watched by everyone while I go online. This really shows us not to show your very personal information, gossip about others and do hurtful things to others online. They will somehow find out that it is you. Be careful Online!!

Episode 3 part 3
I remember 5 years ago when I first came to Canada, I didn't know that there was a search engine called Google and I didn't use Google. I used to use Yahoo everyday and I still do, I think its a very interesting and efficient search engine. However, now I use Google more often and I even set it as one of my home pages. It is very useful and somehow I think it has more information than Yahoo and its more international. By clicking one of the ads on Google, we're actually paying Google in some way. That just surprised me. I really liked the part of the video that shows how people get their ad on Google, it's pretty cool!!
Episode 3 part 2
While watching this video, I was shocked when I saw what happened with the advertizement with the google mail. I don't understand how the computer can read out our messages and then even find related information about that topic for us. That just blew my mind. I think in like 5 years, everyone will own a computer like how most people own a house right now. I think all the businesses are all going to be online in the future and people with the best pay salaries are not going to be lawyers or teachers, they are going to be people who can work really well online.

Livestream
Venessa, Demi and Bennett introduced the class about the new software named livestream today. The software is used to connect people together and for people to share ideas online. It's kind of like skype but with webcam. It comes really handy especially for the fine arts school because people can share music, acts, dance and arts with each other. Imagine we're using this with the other school say like in Kenya or something, that would be extremely wicked!!
